Battery charging question

I have this 2 s battery which came with my typhon grom.can i partially charge it with my basic charger that came with it.im a newbie to this hobby and whilst battery is not being used for a short time is is best to leave it flat,fully charged or partially charged.i know i probably need to invest in a better charger but not ready to buy charger until i know which charger to buy as i can see this hobby is addictive and looking to buy 4s/6s in future. Lipo batteries should be put in storage charge when not in use. Look at the Spektrum G2 charger for your need. Maybe get the 4s or 6s bundle. Do some research on Lipo battery care and safety.

Half way charged for storage. The basic charger won't have a storage function. So run it down halfway or let it charge halfway. If you have a multimeter, the lipo will be ~7.6v.
Before you run out and buy a spektrum charger that has a storage function, I'd encourage you to read a little. Diving into the spektrum ecosystem for lipos and chargers is by far more expensive than a traditional "dumb" lipo system.
+1 on doing some lipo care reading. Lipos are dangerous fire hazards when mishandled.

I got the Spektrum S155 G2 charger, it's around $100 you'll need an IC2> IC3 connector to be able to charge your battery on it. It will charge up to 6s batteries. It has storage mode and storage discharge. Spektrum batteries are preset from the factory to settle down to storage voltage after 72 hours. Yes they are expensive but they are excellent for peace of mind, a lot of people on this forum don't seem to like the spektrum brand for some reason. I got them because I am pretty new to lipo and the smart tech puts my mind at rest.

I will be using different lipos when I upgrade my Gorgon to 3s in a few weeks. I might buy a couple of these bad boys you suggested. I will keep the spektrum gear for my little girl to use in her rig.

If ya plan on getting into the hobby I'd advise getting away from the spectrum stuff
