I'm up in Toledo, Michigan (some think it's part of Ohio). There are tons of good option for Lipos in the USA. Other countries aren't as fortunate. We can get pretty much any brand, so I would go to the existing Lipo threads for more advice.

Somebody might find this info useful. I did some bashing on a new truck today. My battery is 5000 mAh 35c 3s and I am a newbie so 50% throttle limiter set on radio almost all the time. I got 40 minutes of play and when I came back and connected the charger to put battery to storage it showed 11.3 volts and storage is 11.4 at 3.8 volts per pack. Pretty happy with battery performance. Also temperature was around 10 degrees celsius
