Your manual will specify the minimum battery specification. For the 6BLX systems I think it is a 4000MaH, 35c battery and I can't recall the physical dimensions though this is of an issue the majority of the time.
For me I buy the cheapest batteries that meet that specification I can find. I also only buy hard packs to provide a little more protection for the battery. I run XT90's on my 3S and above batteries because that's the connector that came with my Kraton. My cars that have 2S run XT60 connector and Traxxas

@jim84 there are a ton of great LiPo battery suggestions over in the What's your "budget" LiPo of choice thread.
You'll want to buy something that is at the very least has a 30c rating. SMC is my go to for batteries but they are certainly not the only good brand out there. Again see the thread linked above.
