Has anyone tried these reusable battery hard cases? I noticed my 3s softy got a little damaged at one end, likely from a hard nose landing. Then I came across this on eBay.

Mhm i mean if tour lipo fits in the and wire can exit it should be fine
Bu i think you need to put foam in the baterry tray because even in a hard case its going to crush itself my cheap lipo have that too but its pretty minor i removed the baterry extender parts and put foam instead

Looks like your gonna have to use the batteries with the removable bullet connectors to fit those wire holes
Yer I noticed that too but one could always cut an opening for cables. I may just buy a hard case battery next time. Are they any better than soft pack?

I’d never buy a soft pack.
Only soft pack’s I have are for one of my xmaxx.
So what are the benefits of a hard case battery. Better cell protection I'm guessing.

I've never tried on typically what I do is silicone the balance plug of my soft case and plasti dip them. its cheap and easy also waterproofs. I you take your time they will turn out perfect. Just keep in mind to suspend the battery and not let it touch well it's dripping.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time, but in the past 3... almost 4 years of electric RC, I haven't had an issue running either soft or hard pack. I don't run in dirt/sand hardly ever though, so I don't have to worry about small pebbles getting in my battery bays and boring holes in my soft packs.
