Hey knowledgeable people of the Arrma forum...

Hoping for some assistance.
Built the Gorgon with my boy on Thursday (Build out of the box).
Have managed two twenty min runs with the car. Nothing heavy, just getting used to the controls etc.

But now I have nothing. No power / throttle after about 20 secs of turning it on... No steering either. Just stops.

Red LED on the esc is slowly blinking which the manual tells me is low voltage...
It's a brand new build and with a brand new battery which is fully charged... And has been used twice....

Help... I'm outta my depth knowledge-wise and my boy is quite distraught as you can imagine with a large Xmas pressie he can't use.
Could it be something else? I have checked all connections and they appear good.

I'm already looking at the LiPo battery upgrade, but for now all I have is the battery that came with the build...

Any suggestions to help him get up and running again...

The blinky has identified the issue for you. The battery sux.

Just go buy you some good lipos and be done with it. Make sure you buy a good charger with it. I use this one but any good charger will work.
Ovonic
Make sure you closely follow the directions on any charger and learn good lipo charging habits as those are dangerous if charged improperly.

Your money expenditure is almost over.....or maybe has just begun. :P Enjoy it. :D

Low voltage for a nimh is what, like 3 volts for the total pack? Probably not the the battery of its charged, but can't rule it out. Nimh don't tolerate many charge cycles but they are darn resilient while they do work.
Verify the jumper is in the nimh stop, manual will tell you more on where it is.
Might Be wrong on this, but dosent the servo still work when low voltage cutoff kicks in
If the 2 in 1 esc does not find a radio signal, it will also slow blink red. Might be worth rebinding the radio.
The stock servos armt know for their long life amd will sometimes play tricks on the receiver. Unplug the servo amd try again to see if motor works.

Plan your next steps when this is working, having a new motor on hand wouldn't be a bad idea. They start smelling burnt, or even smoking before they die. But it will die. Same withbthe servo if its working now, plan on replacing it soon.
