Kraton battery straps

ok so got my new kraton 6s today. using 2 3s batteries until new 6s battery comes in. dam how do the straps work, the one long one goes from end to end but how do you run it underneath the batteries? this thing is kicking my but
need help

I think it is way to long. I haven't cut my strap yet, but I think I will. Maybe someone else knows, and I shouldn't cut it though....
FYI: I have 6S batteries

It runs over the batteries. and the other on (shorter one) funs over as well. making a lower case T over the top of the battery(ies).

I cut mine at the front and made it stationary, I took the other 2 out modified the battery tray underneath and used 2 iFlight 20x250 straps in there.
