Oh, I thought Hoovo’s were decent. Any brand specific as the “go to”? Spektrum smart feats are nice but they’re expensive and I read they over rate their specs.

I don't think length is an issue in a 6s tray, especially in a Kraton. I have two different sets of 6s bricks that hang way off the tray. I just add a small piece of Neoprene, about a half inch thick, under the area that hangs off the tray. My CNHL 9500's and Genss Ace 6800's are both way longer than the tray. The Neoprene just gives support if you have a really hard landing.

The biggest problem with running lipos longer than the tray is they tend to turn into bananas.

That's why I add the neoprene under the area that hangs over. That stops the lipo from bending on impacts
