Hey guys.

I recently ordered a Yowoo 6S 6000Mah Graphene battery off of Amazon to try out in my Kraton and Mojave. However, when I got the battery, it turns out to be significantly bigger than the specs stated. Amazon listed a 48mm width online, but the actual battery is closer to 50-51mm. As a result, it doesn't fit in my stock battery trays.

Does anybody know of any battery tray mods or replacement trays that will allow me to fit this battery? I mean, if it just won't work, I can always return these to amazon, but I'd rather just mod the trucks to fit.

I have a Turnigy Panther Graphene that doesn’t really fit either so I will be watching for replies selfishly. ????‍♂️

You can use the v1/v2 battery tray, i'm still using it because wider lipo's will fit.
Because the v3/v4 center diff plate has quite a sharp edge which will damage your lipo's it needs some extra protection.

Hot racing tray is 6s and 8s I run 2 venom 5000 50
I did have to take the outer rail off to fit side by side.
The tall side guards was installed to be side wall for battery’s it widen out more and have no issues at all.
In picture 3 nest to spur gear the side wall of hr tray is tad close to rubbing on spur but it doesn’t tho

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I think I will need to end up getting the V1 or HR battery trays. I was able to run the truck this weekend by just cutting the side mostly off of the V3 battery tray, but doesn't feel terribly safe, even with a couple extra Velcro straps.

As far as the batteries go, they are the Yowoo Graphene 6S 6000mah 100C batteries. They are huge and heavy but the power provided is absolutely unreal. I'm going to have to change my diff fluids again or get less grippy tires. I think the front tires touched the ground maybe 4 or 5 times and I got a solid 30 minutes. The battery was just slightly warm after that run.

I also ran the battery in my Mojave and holy poop. That thing fiddlesticking flies. So much difference from my old HRB 6S 50C ones. But those were getting old. I think the tires in the mojave might last 1-2 more runs with this battery and they are done. I am still running the stock tires believe it or not, those things are actually really good. Not the most grippy, but that's perfect for how soft the suspension setup is.

Yep, if it helps you are not the only one, i wasted 2 lipo's on this :banghead:
i'm thinking of putting a v1 battery tray in my EXB kraton but is this "damaging" thing to your lipo's only when you run a v1 tray in a newer EXB Kraton or is it with the standard tray?

It goes for all the versions. I glued in a small carbon fiber plate
