Kraton Battery Tray Stripping

Hey guys,

Got 2 giant SMC 6s 7400 batteries. Awesome. But. The battery tray is shedding screws. They are tearing off the bottom of the tray I assume due to the weight of the battery pulling at it. Any mods to address this? I’m going to need to bolt the tray down and not rely on the plastic alone to hold it. Not sure how to without encroaching into the area where the battery sits. Maybe heat a nut red hot and melt it down into the tray just under flush? Help

I think I’ll try to just mod the stock one with a nut so long as it doesn’t rub the battery at all. Thank you for the help. I really like the stock tray but with a heavy battery it’s kind of a weakness. Or maybe the weakness is my landing skills lol
