Have some SMC batteries all 3S, x2 7400mah 90c these combined weigh 2lb 3.9oz. Been running these with no I'll effects. I also have 2 3S SMC 10500man 90c with a combined weight of 3lb 0.6oz. Haven't used these yet, will the Kraton be able to handle this weight. I don't bash ever, this is my speed run car. Lmk what you think.

I can't really properly answer your question, but you are using the wrong truck for speed runs. I own both a Kraton and Typhon and I will tell you the Typhon would be the truck I would use for speed runs, not the kraton. Kraton is so much heavier.

I know the weight difference between the two, I've got a Typhon also. Right now the Kraton gets 88mph on 6s, just wondering if the difference in weight is more than acceptable ..

@bicketybam my tomahawk Kraton is my parking lot speed run machine :p It is built to do it though :dead:

I run graphene 6s bricks in it; they are heavy at listed 1298g (2.862 pounds).

I run the 6000mah 65c versions. It is snug and they do fit without any modification. They do come with xt90 connectors preinstalled.

With this setup pretty much wide open on tarmac it is approximately 15-20min. The tp 4070cm 2200kv gearing 20/50 pinion/spur is a beast.

I don’t have a gps, but it is fast! above 2/3 throttle and front end wants to lift :dead: This is my gearing:
