Hi Guys, I was playing keep away with my Shepard and got distracted for a split second and she nabbed my Typhon. During her fun she managed to split the coating on the negative wire from the battery leaving it half exposed with wire on one side and covered on the other. You guys think liquid electrical tape is good enough to cover it up and make it water tight? Or do you have any Ideas that would work better?

Get a mastic pad from an electrical supply house. Cut a piece that will cover the area. Wrap it around and make the rubber at the joint stick to itself and the wire. Don't overlap it much. If the insulation is oil free it will stick like crazy and is water tight.

Dude just put some shrink wrap or electrical tape on it, it doesn't need to be water tight. If you are that worried unsolder the wire from the tab and solder a new wire in.
