I see you like your kratons, kinda wondering what kind of speed you get? Lsd/open diffs? Just bought a roller & put a hobbywing 4985 1650kv max6 combo in, drove it for the 1st time today & it SEEMS fast. Big truck going quickly = lots of giggling from me
Well I have 5
3 XL kratons on Mojave chassis 2 with HW max6 with 1650kv one running 23t and one a 25t (3rd Ones a roller so I always have at least one to drive) haven’t done much speed testing with those 2 I did put a GPS on the 25t and hit 63mph.

4th ones a EXB on a M2C kraton a essentials kit I’m running a MMX8S with a sensored 2200kv with a 19t that one I hit 73.8mph this one’s crackhead fast!!! 😂😂🤣😂😭😳

5th ones my V1 Frankenstein with a HW max8 2200kv with a 17t are jump rig this one I’ve it 56mph.

Love your rigs. 🤩 Like I said, just beginning in my Kraton6s journey. Thought a 15t would be a good place to start, ambient temps are plummeting. Do you have a general recommendation for snow tires that aren't gonna break apart instantly or my bank?

Yes 50t center. I like these there light weight and tough I have one that 5+ years old going strong. If your getting the max6 get the programmer and set it up how you like it, as far as diffs go try the LSD vs the open I’m running both in different rigs. Running LSD in
The back and open in the front. I run 200k to 500k center diff fluid depending if it’s open or. Limited. Look around this forum find rigs you wished you had like @Diem Turner (he’s lucky Germany so far away) 😳🤣😂! See what they do/say like only put aluminum here it’s needed (drivetrain, supports, chassis) and leave plastic to flex. Use loctite (blue) on motor mounts. Lastly my number one thing don’t get frustrated (if you do walk way) 😂🤣 enjoy working on the truck it’s a learning experience.

I'm familiar w/ the typhon & all that goes, just new to the Kraton. Don't think I'm gonna tackle lsd diffs, still trying to nail down opens. Seems to me that 1st upgrade I should invest in is the m2c rear tower brace & some replacement towers (for when I inevitably bend 1 or 2 or both?)

Have you not noticed me breaking stuff &/or creating stuff here @ all? That's OK, I'd rather fly just under the radar 😅👨‍🚀🦸‍♂️🧜‍♂️

Did some final test runs tonight going to go through the trucks later and check everything one last time and loctite, let set over night and try to break stuff after dinner tomorrow.
I didn’t realize how much I was going to like the XL kraton. Wish I would have done this years ago.
