Started watching for bargains as they came available. Some times big items sometimes minor. Finally got enough parts to start the build yesterday. Chassis, ESC and motor, radio gear, screws, etc. were the last to come Pulled all the set up and bulletproofing tricks....... Now i just need some decent weather.....

Some items i pulled from my stash. Like wing, wheels and tires, hitech servo and spectrum receiver. So if i had needed to buy those items it would have been about an even swap. But this way i get to build it myself and i get upgraded parts to boot. But to answer your question i currently have just short of 400 in it. Anything else i put into it now will just be " cause i want'm" upgrades. OBTW i did the tower to tower today and painted the body! Not exactly the expected body.... but one that i really like! 1519166403839-641470583.jpgv

Almost forgot. I found an old BCE chassis brace in my pit box. So i bolted it into that unsupported spot between the front and rear braces. Hope this gets me by until someone comes out with a full on HD chassis. Then i will add the aluminum braces and hopefully be golden! 20180219_154836.jpg

Which center mudflap is that? I haven't heard of any that fit the v3 just yet. I ended up picking up the RPM rear a-arms and mudflaps, but I'd love to find a way to protect the center as well. TIA.

Thats a pc of thermal plastic. Its fairly easy to work with and holds up super well. Its the same stuff form fitted holsters are moulded from.
