Hi All,

Since I am new to this, I thought I should at least ask this question.
Besides charging batteries, and replacing the STX2 Radio ;) is there anything else that should be done prior to the tyres (tires) turning in anger for the first time?

Apologies if this has already been asked and answered...

Check the steering, make sure it is centered correctly. Most of the time, the radio trim can fix this, but my Granite was so far off from the factory, it would not go straight at full trim.

Check the slipper clutch, adjust as needed. Too tight is as bad as too loose. But this is one of those things that is kind of hard to know what to look/listen for at first, so just make sure it is not too loose to start, then after a few runs, you can play with it and try to get it closer to perfect.

I’d suggest giving it a quick once over to make sure everything is tight, better than losing or having parts come off while driving.
