Arrma RC's
  1. Kraton EXB
Hello Arrma forum I want to know what’s the best aluminum bulkheads for the 6s line. I trying to decide between the Hot Racing, Vitavon, and Basherqueen. But I know with Hot Racing you have to buy the cover separately. So what are y’all’s opinions on the three brands?

I had issues with fitment using Vitavon. If you want the absolute best, you want the ScorchedRC model Diff. Secondly I would go BasherQueen, and then Treal would be third.

Treal/HR cuz I’m cheap and if you’re breaking bulkheads you have bigger issues. It’s only to improve heat dissipation and hold tolerances better when spinning high rpm.

Or Basherqueen if she sends me a free one cuz ‘Merica.

I can't agree. I've broken quite a few plastic bulkheads on hard landings, sometimes even when the landing looks great.

Absolutely on a wing mount application, the upper ears are stressed depending on the hardware used and material.

Mojave utilizes the upper bulkhead for structural support to the center and chassis braces so never a concern.

My issue is all of the ears on the bulkhead can sheer off in the back and on the front bulkhead I break the ears that the tulip plate mounts to I’m just looking for the most durable option and I want to reduce stripping ring and pinion gears from flex in the bulkhead.

I have the HR bulkhead with the cover and sway bar cover in the rear of my Kraton 6s. I haven't seen the need to install the front diff case yet as I rarely jump my Kraton, but I have installed the HR diff cover and sway bar cover so it matches the rear.

I jump the hell out of mine up to 30ft air and it smashes bulkhead every run.

Just from all the prior discussions, I believe all of them are ok.
GPM/Integy, HR (needs additional parts) Vitavon or scorched.

Never took this route, broke several plastic ones but not nearly enough money and you improve your landings over time.
Granted, you do save repair time.

I got a couple of these to try from Island Hobby Nut for $60 each. I have Vitavon on one rig and they weren't "perfect". Next I'll get BQ bulkheads to try.

I’ve seen people bend the 6061 aluminum ones like the hot racing ones so I want them to be 7075 which ones are those. I also would like the oversized outer bearing.

Not sure if you were talking to me, but they are Ironman rc. Don't know anything about them. They look like the ones people get from Aliexpress..lol.

So to all that has helped so far what do you guys thinks the best all round.

I absolutely agree, that’s why I think the ScorchedRC diff carriers are the best. They are 7075, super beefed up, and have the largest bearings of all the offerings. You can also run Hobao gears, which are beefier than Arrma gears. Greater efficiency for greater speed, and less prone to failure

Ok I’m going to have think about it but it’s either going to be scorched or basherqueen. Thank y’all for your input on this.
