Best budget 8s combo for arrma infraction top speeds

Not sure if I should have posted this in the 6s section or not. But basically I’m wondering what kinda speeds ppl are hitting running the max6 combo on 8s??

I would love to hit 100MPH on 6s, then hit some more serious numbers on 8s!

is there another combo out there ppl recommend?

I’ve got a max6 in an xmaxx and love it and since you guys are recommending it, I’ll probably pick up another. And ppl seem to like it pared with the tp 4050 then I’ll probably go with that as well. Never owned one but ive only read good things about tp!

Stock motor is 8S capable but not for bashing. Proper speedruns only i.e. 1 pass and let it cool for 10 min.

So is the stock motor 100mph achievable on 6s in your experience?

No, top is around 86mph from what I know, maybe low 90's. Next you would have to change spur and pinion.

On stock Firma System 6s you can do 100mph
Gears and Gears and Gears . Lmao

34spool 30t pinion!! I think , ill double check in the am . Had it sitting for over a month

Hi. I run a Max 6 w/ an SSS 4092 1650kv 46/34t gearing on my Infraction. Fun at 4s but blasts at 6s and 8s. I haven’t checked top speeds. Still waiting for my skyrc gps. I have TP motors on my other RCs but the SSS motor specs looked great and was very cheap so I had to try it. The Max6 is more than enough to push 127a max amps. You’ll have to patch up the vented holes in back though. Hope this helps.
