Looking to get some opinions on a middle of the road remote/transmitter for the novice rc hobbyist.

If you have one or two vehicles and are a cheap skate, the dumboRC ones are nice. For more than two or three vehicles the Flysky gt5 for 80$ or so is nice and will save settings for 25 models. Radiolink has some great cheaper radios as well Rc4gs and rc6gs are good performers and the receivers are cheap. DumboRC is a stripped down radiolink with no model memory with the cheapest receivers of all at around 8$.
