Max6 fits in a typhon perfectly, I have em in both of my bashing Typhons

Yeah, true. Probably not the best example. I was thinking more of smaller form factor RCs that might run 6s, and the typhon came to mind. Like the max6 in a kaiju would be oVeR kILL lol.

Hobbywing is only a 90 day Warranty anyway, but you can trade in any esc for a discount off a new Hobbywing esc. And Amazon is only 30 days.

Returning back to this:

Could I return my fried aliexpress max8 to hobbywing and get a discount on a new one? Do I need to provide proof of purchase at an "authorized retailer" or anything? Or will they accept any hobbywing esc return?

Supposedly they will take any esc. No need for proof of purchase. Someone in the discord said they offered them $50 for their Vxl6s.
