I just order high performance big bore aluminum shocks from eBay for my vorteks 3s and my son typhon 3s what weight oil should I use I was looking on YouTube and there using 35W…thanx

I thought I saw a few people using 60wt.

Do they have eBay Big Bore shocks for the Arrma Vorteks yet? The ones that are for the Granite/Senton/Typhon/Big Rock Crew Cab are too long for the Vorteks.

Have a read through here https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/...rock-crew-cab-and-vortex-shock-upgrade.42570/
Yeah they do have them I order some…I’m gonna try them out…

I just saw that.

Idk if they have changed those shocks since I bought mine, but there are no bladders and there in no bleeder hole in the caps so bleeding them was a bit different, my springs were way too stiff, the balls didn't move freely in the rod ends, the rod ends were rather weak, I ended up using Traxxas rod ends iirc, they leaked and both of the rear shafts bent.

I have seen some people who haven't had any issues with them and some who have so maybe qc is a bit lacking on them.

And before I forget you will need Axial shock bushings part number AXA1356 https://www.amainhobbies.com/axial-...rnbHUM_wNZFy8MaTB2F-nky5JES85lvRoCl3QQAvD_BwE for the top mount of the shocks.
