The 2.8s would be convenient. But 3.8 badlands look great but the added size and weight might be too much thoughts anyone.

I wouldn't run 3.8s on the Big Rock, unless you change out to the 4s suspension components and 4s driveshafts. Stick with 2.8s.

I’m currently running Duratrax lockup’s 2.8 mt on my BRCC….they’re belted they work good for me on dirt, gravel, grass & pavement…and I can backflip off my ramp with them also 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I haven’t had any heat issues with stock electronics

Any need to gear down with the 2.8s on the big rock? if so, to what? I'm looking at picking up the same 2.8 badlands on my big rock as well.

I’m running the stock pinion & spur setup, haven’t had to change anything (yet)…I have also got it up to 52mph on the road & I can still backflip it off my ramp 🤘🏻🤘🏻
