I think I'm ready for a 4s rig...I wonder if anyone have upgraded 100a blx for the 120a esc? Would that work and would I need to swap 3200kv for 2200kv motor?

I was kind of thinking along the same lines. I would probably be best to just go for a 6s rig so I can run it with 2 3s packs. I was told some new v5 upgrades will be available for the 6s line up. Quick question.... Which one would you prefer, Notorious 6s or Typhoon 6s?Imo 4s is almost more than the truck needs, but if you do it the easiest way is to drop in the blx120 and 2400kv motor and maybe the metal slipper assembly. If you run the 3200kv motor on 4s you'll probably cook it since it's only rated for 3s. Take note though that the blx120 is 3-4s only so you won't be able to run 2s at all incase you still do/want to.
Fyi I run the above described 4s setup in a granite and most of the time I still run it on 3s because it is too wild for me on 4s, so I am only benefitting from a more reliable esc and motor and not so much of the boost in performance.
You're the man suchtragedy.... The typhoon was my first choice when I got the Big Rock...I decided on the big rock because I was just getting started with this hobby and it looked freaking awesome. I think the Typhoon wins but I'm waiting for the V5.. Thanks alot for your knowledge.Depends on what you like, if you want a pure stunt truck and do wheelies and flips all day go with the Noto. If you want a truck that is a jack of all trades but master of none then go with the Typhon. Of both the Typhon is most versatile meaning you can throw different tires on it and do almost nothing else and make it a truggy or a street only machine etc.
This is a good post to read if you're interested in some typhon possibilities to try later. You're the man suchtragedy.... So do the diffs ,gearbox other drivetrain parts fr.the kraton/outcast 4s fit the big rock 3s? I am definitely doing this upgrade to my rock, but will deff go the extra step q metal gearing tougher drive train, deff gonna get thos backflip 4s LPS on her, cvdz, prolly go with upgraded axles / OUTDRIVES..caps sorry...Imo 4s is almost more than the truck needs, but if you do it the easiest way is to drop in the blx120 and 2400kv motor and maybe the metal slipper assembly.
