Nice work man. How did you land on 8mm? Max height before it collides with the battery cover?

That's the limit -that I found- of the OEM receiver lid rise..
before it jams against the battery tray and forces you to NOT be able to use straight screws (down to the original mounting holes.)

Damn right that’s perfect I’d like 4 myself!
Would they be stackable if you used long enough screws and were able to clear the battery tray?

Hell I don’t give two shits if touches the battery tray. Is this something you are trying to put out for commercial sale? You seem a little uptight for some plastic.

I made an extension for the receiver box by cutting the bottom out of a spare one I had.
I tapped the holes all the way through up to 3mm. Did the same with the existing holes.
A little clear silicone and it should be good.
It’s just 21.4mm tall and went right by the battery tray lip.
