No unfortunately esc/receiver unit only binds to SLT transmitters.

Well now you can. Hopefully it wasn't too late if a notice.
You can update your radio and should have a option to bind to SLT. Note that the DX5C and 5Rugged won't work with the update. Only the newer 5pro, 6c, iSXR and another radio I forgot about
