Got some bittydesign liquid mask, applying by brush, three coats probly.
How long can it be left on?
No likely tae finish a single paint job but wondering if ah can leave it a while between colours. Like three or four months!
Or best left alone until spring?
Gettin thon impatient way! šŸ˜

I bought some of this but haven't used it yet. A little apprehensive about trying liquid mask for the first time. :ROFLMAO:

Iā€™ve probably done 250-300 bodies at this point with liquid mask ..I only apply it using a hvlp gun with a 1.5mm tip ..one thick coat

Iā€™ve got bodies that have been laid up in liquid mask for over 8 months and no issue with them at all

Itā€™s basically a liquid latex layer ..so it will last a very long time

I am curious about this stuff too. I tried some liquid mask they had at my Lhs, brand Vallejo. Light blue. I brushed it on three coats, and it seems to cover pretty well and have a pretty consistent layer. But I had trouble getting it to cut cleanly without pulling even with a brand new X-Acto knife . I can understand it doing that in corners where it might collect and get thick, but this was just straight lines on flat surfaces. I wonder if this brand would be better or is it just me? The one I tried, was very rubbery, latex feeling. Other than that it was good to work with, and seem to cover well. just my lines were crappy.
