This truck gets run hard! Picked it up used on Craigslist. I slapped a brushless setup and a good servo in it. I notched the servo pod so the arm didn’t rub. So far only the jinky diff washer failed. Enjoy !

I have that same truck. The biggest issue i have with it is the washers in the diff get coned, and the diff locks up. I have rebuilt it 3 times in 2 years. I also snapped a dog bone a couple times, so i used TeamC/Racers Edge Pro2 rear CVD's and hubs. I put a Castle Sidewinder SCT in it, and had an issue with it parachuting bad, so i put holes in the body, and not only did it stop the parachuting, it helped the motor and ESC run cooler. I cant find the pics i have of the body with the holes, but it shows them in this post: https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/lift-off.9993/#post-108105

Yeah I had the dreaded washer issue. But other than that it’s been a solid truck. I bought it used and put a Traxxas brushless set up I had in it.

If you can find them these are upgraded parts to fix the diff issue: The current parts numbers you can buy are: AR310378, AR310416 and AR310399. You need all of the parts though, since none of the early model parts will fit in the later model diff. Ive never upgraded mine, since i still have a pile of gear sets for it yet, but, they are starting to dwindle.

I bought a arrma gearbox on eBay. It had a crappy pic and vague description. It was cheap and not like my gearbox. But it had the thick washer and it’s been running strong
