My wife keeps track of deals on Amazon and last night asked me if this was a good price for a Kraton. She’s done that with several cars lately so it didn’t surprise me. The granite that one on sale for $295 (she actually said she wanted another car and likes the granite), 6s typhon that went on sale for $450 and a couple others she’s mentioned.

I guess she was just waiting for the right reaction from me and I must’ve given it when she showed me the Kraton…that’s really what I want next and I love the blue one! Price is decent also.

Early this morning I’m going through Amazon and see that its is arriving tonight by 8 PM 😂 WHAT?!? man o man! Just wow I love her. I got a feeling that she is interested in it also so I’m going to make this one our shared car, ‘our’ Kraton. I have all these 3s cars and a notorious Im still working on while she just has a Big Rock. I think she wants to take part in a 6s car also. It’ll be cool 😊

Congrats on getting the best Arrma car. One thing to note is that when buying from Amazon it's important to make sure the seller is an authorized Horizon dealer, otherwise you may run into problems with warranty claims. An incredible amount of shady businesses infest that site and Amazon often lets them take over reputable listings.

I don't know whether to congratulate you or shame you for dragging another human into this addiction.

Who would want warranted sh!tty stock parts again?

It's useful if the stock parts are normally fine but arrive with defects from the factory, like poorly moulded plastics or brittle diff gears. If the stock electronics go and you want to upgrade you can warranty them and then sell the replacements to make up some of the cost. IMO it's worth having the warranty for these reasons.

My wife’s already hooked. It’s great. I’ve no issues with many stock parts and will use the warranty when it seems right. One of the reasons I love Arrma is the warranty. Man I can’t wait till it’s delivered tomorrow it looks like now.
WHAT a wonderful surprise!
I think I'm a little in love with your wife for having such thoughtfulness.
Me too lol. We were just talking about it. She wanted to know how I felt about her buying it for me as a birthday makeup (too much going on last month) I told her I was completely surprised and thrilled. She was relieved… it’s a purchase well above our normal amount to spend without discussing and she was nervous. I just love her 😊

The Kraton arrived the other day. It is sitting by my bed. But I am going through such a horrid neuropathy surge that I don’t even want to open it yet. And my wife’s final cancer surgery is tomorrow. We gotta be at the hospital at 6 AM And it’ll be a good week or two before she’s back up on her. So I will need whatever I got left to take care of her.

Having buyers remorse though to be honest. Talk me down lol. I feel like I have too many cars right now (7 hobby grade) and I’ve also figured out that I love the 1/10 size best. I’ve only had my Noto out a few times but it’s enough to know it won’t be my ‘go to’ car. Most of my driving is at the park when I take my daughter to play after school. There’s kids everywhere at the park. I can easily control a 1/10 car around kids, and if I accidentally tag one I’m usually not going fast enough to hurt them. But the Noto? Damn, I gotta be careful with it.

Anyway. I’m frustrated as I always get when the pain lasts like this and so long. Maybe next week or week after I’ll look at it different. Crack the open and take her out for a test drive.

Why is the red one $60 more?

I hope things improve for you and your wife soon: my thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife in these difficult times.

I understand about liking the 1/10 scale cars: there are times I just don't feel like running my Kraton because of its size and weight. A lot of times I'll go with my Rustler VXL 2WD or my Losi Baja Rey just because they are smaller and easier to move to a driving site. My Corally Radix6 1/8 buggy is small and light enough that it's more like a 1/10 vehicle.
Someone is scalping prices off color.. Like they do at car dealerships.
I think the blue doesn't sell as much, so they reduce the price to get it out of inventory. When I bought my Kraton I bought the blue, but the price was the same as the red was.

Strike that thought out of your mind..

Firstly, realize that these toys can bring a Smile to not only You and your Wife, Daughter and also who ever else see y'all having Fun with them when you take them out to the parks.
That's an Amazing thing!

Secondly, to be in that enjoyment whenever you drive it, Repeatedly and Every time. Where else can you get that for your money spent!??
I know people who blows through $400-$6,000+ at the casinos PER visit and not be able to enjoy themselves as we do with our rigs.
Talk about remorse...

So, don't trouble yourself with buyer's remorse/guilt.. It's not warranted here.

I’m just stressed and thank you for your words man. Maybe it’s more buyers guilt as we got much going on. But we are okay and by weeks end I should feel better🤞 Hell by Wednesday I should feel better, just want to get past her last surgery tomorrow.
Yeah I’m stressed and trying to control it so is causing more stress…

Thanks bud, much appreciated. Yeah throwing several 1/10 cars in my little outback sport with alllll my kids play stuff reaches a new level cramming a noto or Kraton in 😂

The Red Kraton body is faster. That's why it costs $42. more.:ROFLMAO:
Kidding aside, seriously, that Blue Kraton was a deal for sure.

...

No doubt!
You are in our prayers and we are here for you.
Let us know if there's anything we can do for you brother.

Take a deep breath.
Try to imagine yourself as an ocean.. even if someone drops a massive boulder in, it only makes a tiny ripple...
Be that Ocean.
