Blx 3s motor on 4s castle x esc

I have a castle extreme ESC running on a Blx 3S motor 26 tooth pinion, heat sink and double fan on motor. Running on a 4s lipo. Motor seams fine heat wise have not seen it get above 150 ish yet. Esc is shutting down for a few sec then picks back up. Dosen't seam to have full power and no breaks. Please help.

Running the castle mamba extreme 1:10 scale with sensored capable. I finally got working right after calibration.I finally got a few high speed runs in highest motor temp 207 on the data log. Any suggestions? How to make it not cogg so much on starts. Punch set to 25 % motor power set to 100%.

Mamba x?? If so, your motor isn’t fit for your application.

I’m pretty sure he’s telling me that he has a mamba x, which is way way more powerful than a blx 120. Id pick up a hobbystar 3670 can if it’ll fit.

How is your data logs picking up motor temp? It would need to be running a sensored motor for that. You must be reading ESC temps.

Picked up a castle1512 1800kv. Running with a 26 pinion and (57thooth supr gear) still on 2.8 badlands.I believe 57 is stock. Have not run it yet. I will update with esc and motor temps. Thank for the help guys.also when I was trying the stock blx on 3s on 4s I had a temp gun.
It was running the castle motor at time the the each came with.motor is a 1406 4600kv geared down to a 15 tooth pinion still getting to hot. So I picked up a new motor today. Castle 1512 1800kv.
We will see how it goes tomarrow. Granite 20tooth pinion 2.8 badlands with 10mm hex adapters with fan on heat sink and a bearing kit otherwise stock. Time to Bash.....

145 motor temp 115 on esc 20tooth pinion 56 tooth spur gear.
