I might have burned out my ESC for my Senton 3s BLX. I accidentally ran it through a very shallow amount of water. I'll wait to let it dry out to find out what happened. As of now, it turns on and when the radio sends throttle input it spins wheels for about 1 second and shuts off. I was curious about what the difference is between the 100 and 120 versions.

Can I simply use the 120 and run 3s? I know the ESC is meant for the 4s motor. If I ever upgrade to a 4s motor mentioned below I will be all set.

Can run the 120 with 3s packs for sure. If I ever need to replace my BLX 100, I'll look for a BLX 120 even though on my BRCC and Granite I doubt I'll ever need to run 4s. Sometimes too much is too much and I just bash and not looking for speed. I imagine the 120a esc will run cooler too.
Here's a combo for less cost but bidding necessary. Looks like a winner at $120 imo.

I've run both the BLX120 and BLX100 on my Granite. On 3s I haven't noticed any performance difference. The BLX120 may run slightly cooler. I never ran it on 4s.

UPDATE:
After my swamp water accidental adventure, I decided to pull everything apart. I placed the ESC in a bag of rice overnight in case somehow water was able to get to the circuit board, I know it is sealed but there is a subtle slit on one side and it appears the seal might be slightly broken. After connecting it all back together I now seem to have a functioning ESC. Whew!

QUESTION:
I noticed the fan uses 4 fake screws that are simply glued on the top.
Is the fan suppose to be glued (sealed) to the ESC? I must have been drunk when I took it apart and simply do not remember breaking a glue seal.

As always thanks in advance.
