Is it just me or do the factory body clips just suck!! I hate these arrma clips they are a pain to remove and install. I've been using needle nose pliers but think I shouldn't have to. I know I'm not only one who feels this way so what are you guys doing to upgrade these to something more user friendly??

I get these bent horizon hobby clips

The stock ones were a pain, then I broke a couple and decided to get a new set of the stock ones. Totally different stuff, super smooth, don’t ask me why

The only thing you need to do to fix the stock clips is stretch them out a bit. They are too tight on the wrinkled side. Just give them a yank and they will go in and out much easier.

Yes after the first run they actually bend and it makes them such a pain to remove. I was using the ebay Traxxas body clips and they work much better. But I am giving the "Pro-line" body cap things a try.
Says 24 per pack but I got 28 https://www.ebay.com/itm/362631137292

I just ordered these to give them a go. They have the loop bent up and a alloy pull grip for quick easy use.

The small amount I spread the clip on the left VMS the new clip on the right makes a world of difference on ease of removal. Spread those pins out just a little bit and they will pull off much easier.

I know this is an older thread but I have always used cable ties. put one tight around the body clip at the loop, toss a small chunk of nitro fuel tubing on, then another cable tie and snip off the excess. you have a nice little handle then
