Hello I'm looking for replacement screws and I'm seeing kits on Amazon but some are stainless steel, carbon steel ec What the hardest I would think stainless any ideals. Or does anyone know of cheap replacement kits I'm not paying extra for a name plus they seem to be made to strip so you buy more. Thanks for your help.

Since I'm a pretty cheap guy, I went with a kit off Amazon. Screw quality seems to be comparable to the majority of screws on my Arrmas. The sizes in the kit cover about 80% of the sizes and lengths on my rigs. For the rest, I have to order Arrma replacements or other mod brands. I've probably used a 1/3rd of the screws already in the last 3 months between screw loss or stripping of factory ones. Been great to have a big stash of spares for 15 bucks. Also covers most sizes for my Traxxas rigs too. I'd buy this again.

Those are actually going to be weaker than stock. Those are 10.9 and the stock screws are 12.9. Don't go stainless if you are already breaking, bending and stripping screws the stainless will be even worse as even the strongest stainless is even softer than 10.9 grade. The only advantage stainless steel has over 10.9 or 12.9 hardened steel is that it won't rust.

The most common sizes of screws on these vehicles are as follows.

M3 get 12.9 grade hardened steel countersunk, button heads and socket heads.
M4 get 12.9 grade hardened steel countersunk, button heads and socket heads.
The sizes I use the most are 10,12, 14,16 and 20.
A good place to get these is from Monster-Bolts buy them in bulk. https://monsterbolts.com/collections/metric-button-head-screws

For the specialty screws the screw kits from Jennys rc usually contain them https://jennysrc.com/collections/ar...screws-tools-hardware-nuts-t-wrench-ara8608v5
