Typhon Chassis.

I laid it flat on the table (with the rear crown bulge in the air) and i noticed the middle is arched, and is above the table about 2-3mm.

Is this normal?

I bought it from Jenny’s RC to replace the chassis i bent in a crash.

I bought a new stock Kraton chassis that also had a mild arch in the middle. I suspect it might be intentional to compensate for the weight once everything is assembled.

I bought two from Jenny RC and they both didn't quite have the same shape. Just ever so slightly not too worried. I sanded them both with 80 grit then cleaned with acetone and sandwiched them together with a layer of metal epoxy. Hard and solid like a rock. Hope it lasts!

That's before learning that there was some aftermarket options out there. It was lots of work and I think I would of been better going aftermarket. Let's see how long this one lasts
