Hi,
When pushing the controller trigger forward to brake or reverse, there's a considerable gap in time before it engages the brakes or reverse. How do I shorten that gap? Thanks

What radio are you running? The stock STX2 has a pretty noticeable lag when you do anything :/

Stock STX2...
Is there a fix besides buying a new controller?
Sadly there is not, the radio itself is the problem :(

I use the Flysky GT3B since it's cheap, programmable and very responsive but there are a lot of options out there. Just depends on what you're willing to spend...OR you can learn to drive with the delay, I've seen some do that and get pretty good with it ;)

For $45 you can get into the Flysky GT3, is a 3 channel radio and I really like it's response:

For almost $80 there is the flysky gt5 but a lot of people like this:

Ok... Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it

I am very pleased with the DumboRC X6A. Very quick response, stupidly long range and it’s 6 channel. Ridiculously cheap and receivers are $15 each. If you have more than a couple cars you want to run it with I would go with something with a model memory. Otherwise the Dumbo is great. The X6A is identical functionally to the X6 but has a nice rubbery texture on it. I have both and much prefer the feel of the X6A. Unbeatable price. My new Notorious never turned a wheel with the Spektrum radio it came with. I am repurposing it brand new to sell with the trash Volcano EPX that is a fragile money pit. I’m giving it away pretty much but not the Dumbo setup. I’ll give them the Redcat radio and the Spektrum, I don’t want either.
