My Kraton is 17’ish pounds and is ballistic. I could add another pound and keep going

My chassis skin lasted about 2 minutes running off road.
 
Decided to try out some new shoes. Method RC belted 1/8 truck tires. They are slightly heavier but I like the tread pattern. They slide a little more in grass in turns to help prevent rollovers, but still have plenty of traction otherwise.

So I put a bigger pinion and was getting some high temps on my motor so I bought a thermal switch and wired it in line with a motor fan. Now it only turns on when it gets over 140 degrees and will shut off when it cools down.

This might have been a little extra work for not much of a difference, but it's a hobby and I wanted to try something different. It works awesome!

I attached it with copper wire that I soldered to keep in place (I didn't solder it to the motor). The copper helps transfer the heat to the sensor.
