100-200k in the center seems to be the general concurrences for bashing. Most guys run 50-70 in the front and 10-50 in the rear. Iirc stock diffs were something like 10/15/5. What's up guys?? So I'm finally thinking about cleaning my diffs for the first time...was curious if anybody had any suggestions about oil weight setups...

What's the stock setup anyway?

I have a little makeshift track behind my house in the yard...dirt and grass mainly

Be sure to check that the 100k diff fluid seems like its really 100k. I recently got some 500k Team Factory diff fluid and it seemed to be no more thicker than my 100k and not even as thick as my 200k. So i called Amainhobbies where i got it from and they told me they have been having issues with a batch of Associated diff fluid that was mislabeled and they agreed to send me out some 500k Kyosho diff fluid for free. Which is nice becuase its 15.25 compared to the Associated 9 bucks. I just hope its as good as the Associated, i personally like the Associated stuff..

I've not heard much about the Kyosho stuff but if it's anything like their cars I would think that it would be good.

Thanks for letting us know about the oil situation, stuff like that happens a lot. I ordered a Green Traxxas Summit all of the labels on the box said green. I pulled it out of the box and it was red Horizon gave me a $50 refund for the mix up.

Another random story, I work in retail and we get furniture miss labeled from the factory a lot, like the bedroom set with under bed drawers and they sent us one side in one color and the other in a different color. Then there was the time they sent us a sectional with one of the parts going the wrong way (L shaped sectional with a chaise end that you can order the sectional as having the chaise on either side) we needed a right hand facing sofa piece but they sent us a left hand sofa piece. To make things worse the items were special order and took 3 months to get in the new one.

Haven’t broken anything since then. Just lost a screw nut just now. But thats it. Change straps and Receiver to Traxxas which i find more waterproof than arrma also. But thats it.

Yep, sucks... Call the place you got it from and see what they can do. Its a pain but worth a shot. So stupid that they have not made a public statement or let people who that there are mislabeled bottles going out...

So far Kraton no problems at all. Been using it. A few times per week

Sold my 7yrs old slash 4x4.
And deal
Was he follows his routine
And few more things. So just picked up limited edition Xmaxx Green color one. Added a few things to prep for his Christmas present.



Daily Routine —
Wake up
Fix bed
Go potty
Brush teeth
Wash face
Check garbage
Open window curtains
Put lotion
Thats hes wake up routine and he has to date it everyday.

And when he gets Home

Shoes off before enters the door
Put deodorant balls in
Hang jackets in closet
Change outside clothes to house clothes
Do homework
Have snack

And if his play date friends come over, friends do same routine for them I. The house,

He has been Following it. So far so good. Not too much right. Lol.

He messes up theirs penalties like iPad watching turns from 30mins to 5mins for the day.

Its not much. Lol.



Just happened. 7yr old Ethan will be happy from Slash 4x4 to Xmaxx

Just Finish the little mini project on my 7yr Old Xmaxx. Added some Lightbar X glued the tires and Put in size 24 madmaxx wheel lock.

Installed my 3rd Max5 in a month.

Got Some Paint done I. chrome and did some black pain accents to give that mix look. Got to excited and over sprayed. Lol. Oh well. But I like how Paint came out on body.

I recently got 500,000 that looks like 30W. I also got 200,000 that is as thick as say caulk. Not sure what the guidelines are. I went with the real thick 200,000. I had to fish it out of the bottle with a pick.

Lmao. My cousin does custom car shows in philippines. Got the idea from him on one of the cars.

As soon as u paint the body. Right after you spray it apply a thicker dark park then it mixes the 2 together. Use blow dryer to dry it off quick as it will run or drip. U want to prevent the drip look.

If the stuff thats 500,000 that looks like 30W is made my Associated i had the same thing happen. I called Amain where i bought it from and told them that i revieved 500,000 that was mislabeled and they said that Associated had some issues at the factory with there labels and they have been getting alot of complaints about it. They sent me some Kyosho 500,000 and refunded me for my troubles.

I bet thats whats going on with yours. No way the 500,000 should be thinner than the 200,000. The 500,000 is like playdoh. Really hard to get into diffs...lol

I would call wherever you got it from and complain. I run 500,000 in my center and love it so much more than the 200,000. Im thining of getting some 1 million to experiement with...
