Can I run a hobbywing XR8 G2 plus ESC on a V10s G3 motor?

I need to know if you can run a hobbywing XR8 G2 plus ESC on a V10s G3 motor?

Should work fine. But that ESC is overkill for that motor and is large for a 1/10 application.

P.S. I really, really like my XR8+. Fantastic ESC. My only gripe is that it’s not waterproof.

Thanks for the reply. I was looking to pair them in order to drag race with them. I ended up canceling the order and went with the x10 pro elite ESC
