HEY GUYS THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ.....just wondering can I use 3000cst diff oil in shocks and have it work like shock oil? Or are the oils constructed differently?
They're both silicone based, but diff oils are much thicker. 3000cst would be too thick to flow through the shock piston holes satisfyingly. The shock would be too hard. I use 500cst to 1000cst shock oils depending on conditions. Stock, the Typhon comes with 800cst in the front shocks and 600cst in the rear shocks.
I'm currently running 5000 cst shock oil in my nero when I got 3000 it was virtually the same exact consistency as the stock shock oil thank you for this info
