Cell count sure. You can run a 2s and a 4s. But I’d the mah is different (say one is 3000mah and one is 5000mah) then no. The capacity (mah) must be the same between both packs.

If the packs are two different brands, different mah, different C ratings, no. It's also better to run two packs about the same age.

"Technically", you could run 2 different MAH packs, I would never do that personally. You would need a LVC alarm to plug into the lower MAH balance port. Again, I would never do that. If you do that, you will increase your chances for a puffed pack or even worse, the whole thing goes up in flames... I wont even run 2 different manufacturers in series/parallel..

Spend the money and order 2 identical lipos at the same time. Lipos are a blessing but must be used with the utmost attention. Not worth the risk to me. Just my $.02, that ain't worth a penny.

Consensus: don't do it.
Eventually I just went with a single 6s pack. Less to worry about and better run times
