Could you use a different spur gear for you front or rear diff ???

I assume you're referring to the spiral cut 43 tooth crown gear.

unaware of a substitute that will work but you're probably looking at having to match it with a compatible input gear that meshes well with anything other that the stock Arrma 10 tooth

Yes that's Exactly what I'm talking about.... it's so hard to get a new diff and that crown it's making my head spin !!!!!

If you can find them, you could swap in the straight cut 13/43 from the Typhon/Senton. But then you will also need a smaller pinion to keep the same overall gear ratio.

If you do the swap, you will need both the diff pinion and ring gear. Also, you will want to do both the front and rear, otherwise your center diff will hate you.
