I had this combo myself and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately I fried the motor, but that was entirely my own fault as a tiny stray runaway bead of solder made its way along the lead contact and into the can of the motor. During a subsequent autopsy of the motor I found tiny micro-spherules of solder in the back of the can. You can see that the solder evaporated and re-solidified in tiny beads like a fractal. For scale, the bigger spherule the smaller ones are riding on is approx. 0.3mm. It was a solid combo for the time that I had it though. Good times
