Limitless Castle Data log interpretation / help

Hi

this is my first ever data log reading!

Setup:
MMX8s, 8S lipo 80C 6400 mah, S/P 40/28,

Any advise with my data log?

What motor are you running ?, because that RPM is crazy high and that's only at 70.6% power ?..!!
I would enable watts/hp and temp, I'm no expert on Castle and I'm sure some others will help out once they see this thread..??

motor: TP4260CM-V1 2080KV 8S 8MM SHAFT

You need to setup your motor and gearing info to make the data match your setup.

In the Castle software, there are settings for your motor poles and gear ratios. You need to set that up before the data is relevant.

Make sure you fill in the correct data. Don't just copy mine as it doesn't match your setup.

Finally I achieved the 100 miles (161 kph) PB as of today. I know it is not yet wahoo! But this was my first objective.

i adjusted my mmx8s settings to get more accurate data. see my log any Comments? Please help to improve this PB.

I'm no expert here, but your ripple voltage is quite high but I do believe within the limit just ?
Are you using an external cap pack.??

You are right. Ripple is quite high! My next plan is a homemade cap pack waiting for the capacitors only.


71% power is another issue as I could not press full throttle as the car is not moving straight

Get a Ripple Killer, better tires, and find a way to get on throttle 100%. You should be able to get another 20mph pretty easy.

Suggest that you actually zoom into one of those runs and not just look at the entire log.
There is a lot of data that is otherwise not visible.

I know this is a month old, but seeing your ripple and being you have the same motor/esc as me did you ever get that cap pack made? I make my own out of Panasonic FR or FM 50v 1000uf caps, and haven't pulled the trigger on cutting into my leads yet as my ripple on 8S is around 1.41v w/ 20t pinion 42t spool

I'm not a speedrunner, I'm a speedbasher ?.
Here's my baby

The 8S setup is temporary until I get my new 6S pack from SMC?. Until then 8S on the MMX8S, tp 4260cm 2080kv, SAGA Custom gears 20/42, EMP Ti Spool, Savox 1211sg.?? Everything else M2C pretty much
