Castle Mamba Monster X just waaaay louder than stock Spektrum?

Haven't rebuilt my diffs in a little while, but just want to make sure others have noticed this too before I run it into the ground. The motor is just overall louder

What motor exactly. Castle motor is definitely not louder, it's sensored.

I have the Monster X esc and the 2200kv sensored motor combo. Seems to be working fine in the short test runs after calibration, but struck me as loud. Mesh too tight?

I'd definitely look at the mesh. I think too tight and too loose both have interesting sounds. Its probably that and not the motor

Yep, mesh was too tight, quieted right down. 1st beat run tomorrow, guess I'll find out lol
