Castle settings for Kraton EXB....

Just setting up my Kraton for the first time with Castle software.... first time really setting up a basher, any recommended settings? Punch %, you guys run any drag brake at all? What about brake settings? Throttle curve?

I am running mostly stock settings, about all I changed was to bump the BEC to 7.2v to get a bit more out of the steering servo. I have 2x MMX and one MX. No drag break for me.

I’ve been running castle for quite awhile. I love

Select a voltage manually that you want to cut off at. Don’t rely on auto lipo.
reversing
Check servo for highest voltage and select appropriately.
10% drag brake
40% brake
Very slow drag brake ramp
Start power high
100% power
75% reverse
40% punch control. I don’t recommend going below 30% to save battery wear and tear
Disable torque control unless you want to fool around with it
Arming times fine at default
Timing will depend on your motor. Castle sensored 4 poles work best with 7° timing I’ve read.
I don’t use throttle profiles for bashing. I do for crawling set ups though

I like a lot of freewheel due to my 2stroke gasoline roots. I find this set up good for airtime control
