OH yeah, yeah man. Love it dude don't get me wrong, Awesome.I figured I'd try and build it right the first time and that's what castle recommended
Shame on you, you on here during work hoursNot Mas just forgot the lol. Have like 3 convos going at once cant take 1 day off of work lol
" A little overkill"? Man I just bought one for my Senton Speed Runner build and now I'm all, "where dafuq am I gonna put it"??? I really had no idea just how big the damned thing was lol.You have to solder the connectors. You'll love the Kraton, and wow you went big on the electronics ha? A little overkill IMO lol but you can always re-purpose it for speeeeeddd runnnns haha. Enjoy.
Looked at this yet?" A little overkill"? Man I just bought one for my Senton Speed Runner build and now I'm all, "where dafuq am I gonna put it"??? I really had no idea just how big the damned thing was lol.
Should of went with a LWB......oh well, keeps it interesting, huh?
That's a good idea too. Currently I'm thinking of maybe mounting it on a T2T brace much like I did with my TT02.
I wanna know more about this, can you show us some more and tell us some more about the set up, use speeds etc? That's a good idea too. Currently I'm thinking of maybe mounting it on a T2T brace much like I did with my TT02.View attachment 287031
It's my entry for a TT02 speed runner. I'm keeping it interesting by doing a little experiment. I plan to see what it can do on crawler setups. What is in the above pic is the Mamba X/2280kv setup. I will try that and then use my HW Axe Foc/3300kv. Just for laughs. I ended making a bunch of my own spurs(48p) using a few Yeah Racing spur adapters and some Traxxas 1/16 spurs(erevo I think). I'm prepared to send this direct drive(45/45). I was going to try to hit 100mph but both math and theory says my kv is too low. So another buddy is brave enough to loan me his Castle 1406 5700kv motor if need be. All carbon fiber except for fan covers are custom and cut by me.I wanna know more about this, can you show us some more and tell us some more about the set up, use speeds etc?
Thanks.

It hasn't had a proper run yet but current pb on it is 37mph(gnss) stock gearing, stock motor(torque tuned), mamba X esc on 3s. Motor didn't survive....
Since all the upgrades, all I have to show for it is I'm no longer allowed on Xtreme's indoor track without a visual inspection of my setup lol. Don't ask.
Geared 40/48
Geared 45/45 to test foam tires
What would be adequate for a 1/5 kraton on 8s in your opinion. I’m debating the xlx2 800kv or hobby wing max5 combo. You have to solder the connectors. You'll love the Kraton, and wow you went big on the electronics ha? A little overkill IMO lol but you can always re-purpose it for speeeeeddd runnnns haha. Enjoy.
You can't go wrong with the max 5 comboWhat would be adequate for a 1/5 kraton on 8s in your opinion. I’m debating the xlx2 800kv or hobby wing max5 combo.
This car clearly isn't full enough yet. I still see some unused space right above your shock caps. there must be a way you can take advantage of that vast, sprawling tundra. That's a good idea too. Currently I'm thinking of maybe mounting it on a T2T brace much like I did with my TT02.View attachment 287031
