Anyone install the center diff lock on their Talion/Outcast/Kraton to evenly distribute power to front and rear? If so, how do you like it and how well does it work???

A week or 2 after getting my Outcast I switched from the stock 100k center diff oil to 200k to even out front to rear power distribution and it helped out considerably.

I've since switched to 500k center diff oil and it's damn near 50/50 power distribution front/rear in all driving conditions. I wouldn't recommend a center spool unless you're only doing speed runs simply because the stress on your front and rear driveshafts along with the 10t and 43t crown gears won't survive long jumping and/or bashing. The slip within the center diff acts as a fuse to minimize shock to the front or rear driveline depending on how you land.

That’s exactly the information I was looking for I appreciate it
