Blew my center diff, replace with stock or should I replace with something stronger? Links? And what fluid to run?

Just curious what were you running in your center diff and how often or how many diff changes were made before it blew?

I only have the center diff upgraded mine is from HR:

Worked good but the negative for me I have to go through my can of washers to add an additional washer or shim inside the diff to eliminate the little a bit of the movement back/forth with the input gear

Infraction V1 or V2 and if it’s a V2, were you using the handbrake under power - because that’s a sure way to blow the diff.

Also, what blew? Stripped gears, broken pins, cracked diff case?

V2, and I was definitely using handbrake under power ??‍♂️ It was fun while it lasted. But the whole diff case blew, like a hole in it. I just wanted to see if there was any upgrades out there since I was going to replace it anyways.

Definitely the aluminum diff case mentioned above but since Arrma specifically warns against using the handbrake under power, other bits and pieces might start breaking after that upgrade.

Yes, handbrake under power is recipe for disaster.

Use this one:

They go quick and stock seems low. I have 2 of them and the HR AON1101, do not use the Hot Racing AON1101 unless you want maintenance headaches, it's pure aluminum and the sun gear will wear out the alu, you end up shimming your way into oblivion.
Use the Arrma one or there is a similar type from HR.

Thanks all, I just bought the stock center diff and will be ordering the Arrma aluminum differential case too. I’ve never shimmed or built the differential case so this will be a big learning curve for me.
