Kraton center differential wobbles

on the v4 kraton..is the center differential suppose to wobble? when lift the front shaft..the center diff gear seems loose..is this normal? there is signicficant amount of play.. how do i fix it?

Is it that it the whole diff assembly has some play that it moves front to rear? If yes, most RC vehicles do this without any problems but you could get a few shims to remove the excess play.

There might be some play front to back , but you should not be able to move the diff up or down. Check the fitting of the diff cover . There is a small lip on it that may prevent it from seating properly . I've found that if you loosen the bottom screws on the diff mount , then install the top cover it is much easier to line up.
