I had ds3218mg steering servo that just died. I was about to order another one, but wondering if anyone had any other recommendations? I'm looking for 20 dollars or less.

Yes it was fine, figured it would last longer though, my son doesn't drive the truck much. But it works fine to control the backflipping he does

Did you set the end points? If you exceed the allowable by the car. Basically, the servo May have more more swing than the car does thus putting extra strain on the servo when the cars limits are hit. Does this make sense ?? Haha

Yes of course. I got 34 years in Rc. The kid just beats the hell out of this thing.

don't get the coreless versions at least the 25kg coreless blue servo from DS a lot of give before it holds. I would have recommanded the ds3218pro because its fast and claims 23kg at 6v but mine has trouble turning on the ground on a dead stop and you can hear the servo fighting the tires
