The anti-spark arrestor Resistor(s), always on the Neg side, do fail at some point, Yes.
I experimented with using a Silicone specific Dielectric Grease. Don't do it! Be warned.:giggle: Not for High Volt High Amped connectors.(n) I use dielectric grease only on very low volt, low amp load connections. And very Sparingly. Serves a purpose, just not good for Lipo pack connectors. Also don't use Dielectric grease on a Sensor lead/ pinouts. Messes with the Low freq. sensor signals. Causes the the connector to foul up.. Attracts dirt, grit. This can even wear out the barrels/ bullets. Again, been there. I even saw arcing with this grease.
Just keep the connectors clean and dry, with Elect. Contact spray.
Contact spray l? Link please thank you 🙏

Electrical Contact spray is available at most any Auto parts store or Wally world. You can also use Auto Mass Airflow Sensor spray. Just costs bit more $. Basically the same.
CRC is best stuff for cleaning out BLX motors and PCB's. Don't use reguar Brake cleaner spray on these motors by mistake. Can ruin the Stator/ Armature. Not safe for plastics and resins found in motors. Brake cleaner is only best for cleaning BB's and Diff gears. But good to have a can of that also.

I also use Lectro-Motive spray. Just a variant of the same. I always try to find the Large can. Just cheaper this way. I go through this stuff. Have so many RC cars here.:giggle:

I use Brakleen. Red can ( chlorinated). Best to clean out diff parts and BB's of silicone oil, Works fast. . Don't use the "Green" can of Brakleen . It's Non-chlorinated and much weaker.
