I did a speedrun and one of my CHNL batteries smelled a little strange. IR's seem fine and no puffiness. Is it safe to use? Or should I destroy it.?

I do not know the answer so wait on replies. If there is an issue in the end and not too old CH has replaced mine in the past... it was fairly new at the time.

If it's a sweet smell, thrash it. Else, it's probably just Taco Bell next to where you are running? ;)

It could only smell if that silver lining is punctured, if that happened you would have had a fire already.

Store it away from others, charge it in a fire safe environment and bash on. Treat it like any other Lipo but to be safe, isolate it i.e. store away from others and charge it by itself for the next charge until the next run. Do it outside, if it does catch on fire, the smell will stink up the inside.
