A couple weeks ago someone on the forum asked me if doing color changing flames was possible
At the time I said no..but after thinking about it I think I figured out how to do it ..it’s a diff process than doing the candy flames over black

this one isn’t perfect but I think it came out pretty decent for a first try

what do you think?

does this color scheme work?

IMO looks too stencily and the overspray/fuzzyness off the flames also stands out. Sure it would look better or less noticable on a darker color but on white it's really noticable. Not trying to hate just my artistic input👍

Yeah
I hear you
To make the flames appear you need to shoot black over the color changing paint(clear) so the fuzzy ness is the overspray and you’re right
It becomes way more noticeable with a white base color ..I’m not sure if other base colors will work with this type of scheme
I did try something diff with the flames (tried to make them more stencil like ) with the tribal design so that’s why they look like that ..if I were to try this a second time I def wouldn’t shoot this style flames again..unfortunately to make the flames appear you need to go heavy on the black..so I’m not sure if the ghost flames will work

That was me lol.

Still better than anything I could do, I'm lucky I can draw stick figures.
